DELIVERY DRIVER AT MEDICARE CHEMISTS ELMWOOD
Prescription Delivery Driver – approximately 25-30 hours per week .
We are looking to recruit Delivery Driver to work at our Medicare Elmwood branch. Starting early February 2022
The required working hours are Monday to Friday approximately 10.45am – 4 pm each day.
We are looking for an individual who is flexible, has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams. Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
Whilst providing a high standard of customer service, you will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Medicare brand.
To fulfil this role you must be able to work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions in the given designated period of time. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible to ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.
You may also be required to assist with PR exercises to increase business.
You are required to use your own vehicle for this role; therefore if appointed your personal insurance policy must allow for business use. It is advised that you contact your insurer to obtain information regarding this prior to attending an interview. Please note that “business insurance” refers to the vehicle only, and not the contents.
The Company will make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of a document demonstrating any increased premium.

Rate of Pay : Basic hourly rate plus mileage claim at £0.45 per mile .
