Customer Service Representative – Footprint Recycling

Footprint Recycling is a busy environmental consulting and waste management business based in Holmfirth. We are looking for an out-going person to join our customer service team.

Customer Service Representative Job Purpose:

Contribute to a growing sales team with great customer service and the ability to meet the needs of clients who need assistance.

Provide sales and customer service support to customers calling and emailing.

Customer Service Representative Duties:

  • Prioritise and process customer orders and requests submitted by telephone and email.
  • Investigate and resolve customer enquiries/complaints and be able to resolve them quickly and patiently.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records.
  • Good with figures.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Keep confidential records and financial information private and secure.
  • Liaise with company suppliers to arrange collections, deliveries, item repairs, correspondence and email management as needed.
  • Assist Accounts department with accounting enquiries and reporting.
  • Communicate with customers about their orders, including any delays or changes to service.

Customer Service Representative Skills and Qualifications:

Friendly, patient, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, work as a team, attentive to detail, work to deadlines, prioritise customer orders, critical and forward thinker, problem-solver, excellent listening skills, accurate record-keeping, be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, experience of Microsoft Dynamics and Sage Accounts packages would be an advantage, English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
