Salary details: Grade 5
Schools: New Mill Infant school and New Mill Junior School
Contract Type: Substantive post following a successful probationary period
Working Pattern: Term time only
Hours per Week: 25 hours (ideally Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 1pm and Friday 8.30am – 4pm with 30 minutes lunch, but hours could be negotiated)

We are looking to appoint a Business Support Officer to work in our busy school offices.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive staff team and will work closely with the School Business Manager and Senior Business Support Officer in providing effective administrative support for the schools.
As the first line of contact for parents and visitors, you will need to have the necessary interpersonal skills and warmth to make all stakeholders feel welcomed and valued whenever they visit or contact school.
Duties will include:
Assist in providing an effective, flexible and responsive administrative support service for the schools.
Provide a friendly, professional reception service to all visitors and callers.

Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Can work effectively as part of a team
Is able to use their initiative, demonstrating the ability to be flexible/adaptable
Has strong literacy and numeracy skills
Has respect for confidentiality and sensitive information
Is computer literate: Microsoft Office, email, databases and IT systems
Previous experience of working within school administration is desirable, but not essential.
