The Warm Spaces project will run at the Tech from 2nd January until 24 March 2024; the aim is to help prevent people from reaching crisis by providing a communal warm space to reduce domestic energy use.
Our warm and welcoming space will offer local residents somewhere to keep warm, and save money on their own heating.
Through the grant, we will provide activities, drinks, hot food and signposting support (on advice such as mental health/wellbeing, employability and debt management) as well as digital inclusion sessions and Wi-fi provision.
A warm space will be available at the Tech 4 days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am until 2pm) 2nd January until 22nd March 2024.
