New Mill Junior School In West Yorkshire Cricket Final!
8 Year 4 children from New Mill Junior School have been competing in various cricket competitions beating 10 schools over the last few weeks. They initially played local schools from the Holme Valley Pyramid and won all their games down at Holmfirth Cricket Ground then progressed through to the Kirklees final at Honley, winning all their games again!
The children are now through to the West Yorkshire Final at St Lawrence cricket ground where they will play schools from across West Yorkshire!
This is a fantastic achievement and we are so proud of the children for getting this far! If successful in the West Yorkshire Finals the children will progress on to the Dynamos Cricket Yorkshire final at Headingley Stadium on Friday 1st July.
This event will take place prior to the Yorkshire Viking T20 fixture.
