We’re looking for a new member to join our team here at The George in Upper Denby.
Polite, enthusiastic, hardworking, conscientious and with plenty of common sense.
We’re a small team and duties are very varied covering all aspects from the bar to the cellar but we are particularly looking for someone who can also manage our small kitchen.
Someone essentially over the age of 18 ideally with previous experience in a commercial kitchen, a minimum Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety & Hygiene for Catering and knowledge of the Food Standards Agency Safer Food Better Business.
Qualifications are not compulsory, however, as these can be gained by someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
Driving license and own transport are vital due to our rural location.
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 32 hours per week increasing during busy times. Normal working days will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays, Christmas & New Year.
Wage negotiable depending on experience and responsibilities.
