Café Manager /Experienced Supervisor – Full time preferred / Part time considered
Seeking experienced café manager/supervisor.
Leadership and supervision of the team is a vital part of this role along with the the day to day running of the café. Strong communication skills and ability to inspire and lead other team members. As well as a passion for customer service to deliver a great experience. You MUST be able to work both weekday and weekend shifts between 9am and 5pm, month rota prepared in advance (closed Mondays except bank hols.) Approx. 35hrs full time over 5 days.
The Role – is a hands-on role in a small team;
• Managing bookings + monitoring tables & service
• Instilling our standards of service with the team
• Preparation for daily service
• Ordering of wine & soft drinks, coffee etc
• Managing the front of house products e.g. cake consumption
• Monitoring food safety & hygiene working closely with kitchen team
• Ability to assist in kitchen during busy periods an advantage
• Ensuring good standards and cleanliness of the café
• All tasks linked to service in the café; till operator, taking orders, barista, food service, clearing, pot wash
You should be hardworking and trustworthy with and have a friendly personality! With a good food and drink knowledge.
This is a permanent role – immediate start. Good rates of pay dependent on experience/role.
