Book-keeper & Office Assistant – Part Time Maternity Cover

We are a family-run organisation, comprising farm shop, butchers, restaurant and working farm.

We are looking to recruit for the above position on a temporary basis (which could lead to a permanent position within the company) to cover maternity leave. The role would include bookkeeping, dealing with customers and suppliers on the phone, general office duties and providing support to the Partners of the company and to the other departments.

Experience of SAGE Line 50 accounts is desirable but not essential along with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

Most importantly the right candidate will be a good team player, with excellent presentation and telephone manner and an ability to communicate well with customers, employees and suppliers.

Hours will be Monday, Thursday, Friday 9am – 5.30pm with full-time holiday cover required for 5 weeks of the year.

Own transport is beneficial due to our location.
