WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Based – Brockholes, Holmfirth, HD9 7BN
Salary – £19500 + bonus
Benefits – Company performance related bonus worth up to £1,200 per annum, 20 days’ (+ 8 statutory days) annual holiday with a time served accrual system, free onsite parking, pension, life insurance and enhanced company sick pay schemes after a qualifying period.

The company specialises in the manufacture, distribution and installation of physical security solutions. Founded in 1990, the business has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of safes, security doors, strongrooms, panic rooms, ATM security & access control.
We are now looking to strengthen and improve the warehouse team ahead of a planned move to new premises in 2022 which will be on the M62 corridor between Huddersfield and Leeds. All departments are crucial to the success of the business and the Warehouse is no exception. You’ll be required to take responsibility for:
– IT Administration
– Fork lift truck driving
– Picking goods
– Loading & unloading goods
– Packing goods
– Learning new skills such as lock fitting and refurbishing of safes
To be successful you will need to have experience of working in a warehouse or similar environment, undertaking picking and packing. Ideally you will also have a forklift licence, however training and certification can be provided for the right person.
You will need good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ideally, you’ll also be familiar with ERP systems.
You’ll also be hard working with a strong work ethic, well-motivated, have the desire to put customers and colleagues first.
