Here at IK Sport Classic we specialise in all aspects of classic and sports car ownership, including general servicing and maintenance, storage and complete restorations. Based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, we are currently restoring a 1968 Mercedes Pagoda 280SL and pre-production Jaguar XJC chassis No.2 among others.
As a family run business, we are looking for a vehicle technician to join our friendly team. The role will report to our workshop manager and be responsible for all aspects of mechanical work on both classic and modern vehicles. This will include servicing, engine rebuilds on a variety of classic engines, as well as rebuilding suspension and running gear to our restoration projects.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with experience of a garage, workshop or dealer service environment. Classic car knowledge is preferable but applicants with a good mechanical understanding and a willingness to learn will be considered.
Our working hours are 8:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, with a total of 1 hours breaks split over morning, lunch and afternoon.
Competitive rates of pay based on experience.
We have free-onsite parking and lunch provided on Fridays.
