At Holme Coffee House we have built quite a following over the last few years. We are a busy, independent spot serving the best (in our opinion) Huddersfield coffee. Ladies and gentleman, we give you…Bean Brothers. Roasted just 20 minutes up the road from our place, fresh in the hopper is the awesome ‘Derek’, definitely the main man around our way. We also feature the very best roasteries in the country, keep an eye out for who is in our ‘guest hopper’ spot. But the drinks menu doesn’t stop there. We have a selection of loose leaf flavoured teas from Honley based Craft Tea Company and tasty Belgian hot chocolate from Pendragon Drinks. Fancy a boozy lunch? We have cocktails, fizz and beer to satisfy you.
Feeling hungry? Breakfast, brunch and lunch is on the menu. Whether it’s French toast, American pancakes, bacon sandwiches, avocado on toast, paninis, pretzel buns or a Buddha bowl, there is something for everyone on our varied and exciting menu. We cater for a gluten free diet, just ask a member of our team and we will be happy to help. We are gaining quite a reputation for our vegan menu, including offering alternative spreads, vegan creams and four plant based milks.
We like to keep it local where possible and we are proud to use Roger’s Bakery in Marsden and Paul Schofield’s Butchers in Penistone to bring the awesome flavours you taste on our menu. Got room for a treat? Fresh bakes, from brownies to mini loaves, are provided by Grandma Freda’s Kitchen. Now these are worth blowing the diet for. Trust us, it will be worth the extra few calories!
We are a dog friendly coffee shop and we even have a menu for your pooch, selling tasty dog treats from Slaithwaite based Dragonfly Products. You may be lucky to meet our resident dog, Darcy, who loves nothing more than sitting in her chair and getting some attention from our customers. Yes. She is a pampered pup!
We are attracting a new crowd who come down to soak up the atmosphere in the funky surroundings, listen to some great tunes on the playlist and kick back in the snug with their favourite drink. Next time you are in Holmfirth be sure to give us a try.
