Lunchtime Supervisor

Salary details: Grade 3 

  • Schools: New Mill Infant School and New Mill Junior School 
  • Contract Type: Substantive post following a successful probationary period
  • Working Pattern: Term Time only
  • Hours per Week: 5 hours worked Monday to Friday
  • Closing date: 9am Thursday 14th December 2023
  • Interviews: To be confirmed with the applicant/s 
  • Start Date: Monday 8th January 2024

The children, staff, and governors at New Mill Schools are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and flexible lunchtime supervisor to join the team within our caring and welcoming school community.

The successful applicant will provide practical support for pupils in the dining hall and in the playground over the lunchtime period, helping to develop social skills through play and promoting children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A positive role model to children.
  • Patient, understanding with strong communication skills with both children and staff members.
  • Able to work as part of a team
