Holmfirth Children’s Book Festival – Holmfirth Civic
The Holmfirth Children’s Book Festival is for children, young people and their families in Holmfirth and beyond. The festival aims to inspire a love of reading and books. The first festival took place in September 2025.
In the years to come the festival hopes to grow further and become a destination for book lovers all over the UK.
The festival is passionate about getting children excited about books, and is non-profit organisation, Holmfirth Book Festival CIC, run by five local volunteers including the founders of Read Bookshop.
The 2026 festival will be on 26th and 27th September, with some brilliant authors and illustrators lined up. Tickets are now live and ready to GO at www.holmfirthbookfestival.co.uk
