An opportunity has now arisen within the Honley Agency for a part time Credit Controller.
The Role
Your role will include handling accounts / billing queries for motor, personal and commercial insurance policies for our current customers as well as clients new to NFU Mutual. You’ll apply your excellent, professional telephone manner to deal with any payment / account queries and dispatch of documentation. With your flexible approach you’ll also provide administrative support and perform other office duties as required with ‘can-do’, pro-active enthusiasm.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential although you will be expected to bring a positive, people orientated approach to everything you do. Above all though, you’ll relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer-focused team. In return, you can expect full training in a friendly and supportive environment.
About you:
- Experience working with customers over the telephone and face to face
- Experience in a Credit Controller role
- Used Microsoft 365 and sales support systems
- Good organisational skills and a problem-solving mentality
- The ability to communicate confidently and effectively
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade 4 or above
The salary will be dependent on experience.
The position is part time – working within normal office times (hours negotiable to suit), Monday to Friday with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing with length of service.
Successful candidates will be required to attend training courses arranged and run by NFU Mutual and pass the relevant licensing qualifications within an agreed timeframe.
