Here at The Carding Shed we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef, committed to delivering exceptional quality seasonal dishes to join our kitchen team.
Based alongside our classic car restoring sister company, IK Sport Classic, The Carding Shed is a unique family run cafe with a varied and seasonal menu. We also have our in house bakery where we produce our famous cakes and traybake’s.
Open between 10am and 4pm, Tuesday – Sunday, the role offers the right candidate the opportunity to work alongside our kitchen team developing menus and assisting in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Our team is the beating heart of our business, and we are looking for a candidate that is:
– Genuine, approachable and hardworking.
– Passionate about high standards and progressing in the kitchen.
– Able to step on the gas when the pressure is on and see the jobs that need doing during the lulls.
– Able to work independently on each section of the kitchen.
The role will include:
– Day time hours including weekends (approx 40 hours per week).
– Free lunch and drinks.
– Pay between £9.50 & £11.50 per hour dependent on experience.
– A friendly, family run work environment.
