Bookkeeper (maternity cover)
About us Simply Business Solutions are recruiting for a Bookkeeper to cover maternity leave for 9/12 months, however there is a possibility of this becoming permanent. We offer tailor-made accountancy, bookkeeping and payroll solutions to SME’s and we have been trading since 2007 and throughout this time we have grown steadily mainly on the recommendation of existing clients and other business partners.

The role You will be required to do the bookkeeping for our clients on site at our offices in Meltham, Huddersfield (although there may be some on-site working at clients premises). This will entail supplier invoice recording, post payments, bank and credit card reconciliation, maintenance of client accounts and related spreadsheets, sales data input/invoicing to ensure that the accounts show and true and accurate reflection of business finances and performance. Payroll management, VAT returns and CIS.
Skills and qualifications
AAT Level 3/ICB qualified or must be able to demonstrate experience in similar roll.
Knowledge or Quickbooks/Sage/Moneysoft.
Attention to detail.
Self-motivated and interested.
Honest, reliable and friendly.
