Often described as a ‘hidden gem’, we are a busy independent coffee shop located in Holmfirth. Since opening in 2019, we have established ourselves as the place to come for awesome coffee and food. Each week we welcome new customers and our reputation continues to grow.
We are looking for an Assistant Chef to work part time, including weekend shifts.
Duties include:
- Preparing our breakfast/brunch/lunch menu to a very high standard
- Excellent food presentation is essential
- Ordering daily/weekly stock from our suppliers
- Assisting with the daily and weekly kitchen stock control
- Kitchen cleaning duties
- Working closely with the Head Chef
- Helping to develop specials for the menu
- Able to multi task in a busy working environment
- Working as part of the established team
- Support the FOH team if required
- Contributing to the positive, fun working atmosphere at HCH
- Positively promoting and supporting the needs of the business

At least one year experience in a kitchen role and the hospitality industry, with Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification. You will need to provide two references for the position. Competitive rate of pay for the right candidate.
