Artisan Baker – Roger’s Bakery

Artisan Baker Required

We’re seeking a passionate individual to join our team, creating artisan breads and pastries using traditional methods. While experience in baking is an advantage, training will be given to the right candidate.

What you’ll do:

  • Mix, shape, and bake a variety of artisan breads using high-quality ingredients.
  • Create pastries and croissants from scratch
  • Assist with packing and preparing orders for delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to food safety standards.

Be a team player and contribute to various tasks in our small bakery.

What we’re looking for:

  • A passion for baking and a willingness to learn traditional techniques.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to follow instructions and learn new recipes quickly.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate measuring and scaling of ingredients.
  • Strong physically, being able to stand for extended periods and lifting moderately heavy ingredients.

Preferences:

  • Experience in baking, especially with artisan breads.
  • Knowledge of different flours and their properties.
  • Creativity and a desire to experiment with new flavours.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position, working 5 days  with alternate Saturday Morning .

Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.(usually later on a Friday).

Week 1  Tuesday to Saturday ( Saturday hours are 5am until 10am),

Week 2  Monday to Friday
