Welder/Fabricator/Site Fitter
Location: Holmfirth
Salary: From £15 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm, 40 hours per week, plus overtime as required.
About us
Rock Metalwork Limited is a steel fabrication company based in the Holmfirth area and supply a variety of bespoke steelwork to the construction industry.
The Role
We are currently recruiting a Welder Fabricator
The role will require applicants to have experience in the steel fabricating industry. The role will involve:
- Welding MIG/MMA. TIG Preferable but not essential
- Fabricating in the workshop a wide range of steel products such as structural steel, staircases, balustrades etc.
- Working on construction sites as part of a team to install manufactured products.
The Person
Ideally you will have previous experience in MIG/MMA/TIG Welding processes and the ability to manufacture from production drawings. You must have good organisational and communication skills and have a good track record of manufacturing bespoke products.
The successful candidate must be capable of working on their own initiative, to a high standard of finish and with a varied, fast-paced workload.
Ideally the candidate will have a CSCS Card, as this is mandatory on all construction sites. Training material will be provided if the successful candidate does not already have one.
