Italia Autosport (Classic Ferrari Specialist) are recruiting for an experienced, customer focused Workshop Controller with a strong technical understanding, as well as current or very recent experience within the engineering or motor industry.
As the Workshop Controller, you must organise the service activities to ensure efficient and profitable operation within this small business.
The duties of this role will include (but are not limited to):
- To operate the main office, monitoring progress and completing invoices upon completion of jobs, tracking client payments, managing suppliers and preparing accounts.
- Working closely with the Parts Department in the management and ordering of parts, monitoring workshop hours as well as other duties as required by the Parts Manager.
- To act as the first point of contact between the company and our extremely interesting clients – must be able to build a confident rapport, and act in a professional manner at all times.
- Computer literate – It is essential that you have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organisational skills and must be able to use your own initiative to problem solve (common sense a must!).
- A preference for ‘old school’ ways of working, many of our operations remain paper-based.
- A passion for high standards of customer care.
