This pleasant town and countryside loop takes in a mixture of sights and terrains.
The route starts off at the Crown Bottom car park in Holmfirth town centre and takes you around some of Holmfirth’s hidden gems.
Discover lush green open fields, riverside paths, quaint villages and hamlets nestled in the hillsides, peaceful woodland, and views that go on forever. This walk has it all!
Take care along road sections and at road crossings on this trail as they can be quite narrow.
There are some steep inclines (the views are worth it!) and some stiles.
There will be livestock in some of the fields, so please keep your dog(s) on a lead.
A moderate route that is suitable for most abilities.
Don’t forget to pick up a picnic at one of Holmfirth’s fabulous shops or cafes before you start!
