A quality and traditional butchers based at Hade Edge, serving fresh, quality and locally reared livestock and products daily and have done for many years.

J. Brindon Addy have been serving customers of Hade Edge and further afield since 1993.  Their reputation as experienced butchers with an unrivalled quality to their meat was quickly cemented in their locality, and their popularity has continued to increase and spread since their early beginnings.

A well-stocked deli counter, various condiments and mouth-watering marinades are all on offer to enhance recipes and help present numerous ways to eat the same beautiful cuts of meat – there should never be a time when you’re stuck for what to have for dinner or tea!  Take advantage of our staff’s knowledge; if you’ve never cooked a certain ingredient or dish before, then ask us how.

We make all our own pies and pasties, with some varieties unique to us, such as our ‘Nookie Pie’ – a variation of the traditional steak and ale recipe that uses beer from the local ‘Nook Brewery’.  J. Brindon Addy also bring you old favourites like Hunters’ Pie and Pork and Stilton and our pies have won awards for their full flavour.

Our focus for the shop is to continue bringing our customers meat that offers taste and succulence far exceeding what’s routinely offered in other retail outlets.  We’re always looking for new ways to develop the business and bring customers what they want, so if you’ve any comments or feedback, please pass this on!
