Friends of Holmfirth Library Walk – Cartworth Moor and the Ribble Valley (6.06 miles)
This route takes you up onto Cartworth Moor with views across the Holme Valley taking in Holme Moss. A short diversion will take you to the Holmfirth Vineyard where you can savour a drop of the last of the summer wine! The route continues over into the Ribble Valley and through woods to a reservoir. The path rises once more to the far side of the valley returning to Holmfirth from Cinderhills.
A walk for good weather and summer evenings! In wind and rain there is no shelter, other than the short section in Holme Styes Woods.
