Brownhill Reservoir

A beautiful reservoir just above Yateholme, Holmfirth

One of our favourite walks: From Holmbridge, take the road signposted to Yateholme next to St David’s Church: Walk alongside Brownhill reservoir. The road then lead to Ramsden reservoir (parking available at Ramsden if you want to start the walk there instead). The circular walk around Ramsden takes in a lovely view of Riding Wood reservoir too. You can either turn left and head towards Holme Village from here, or right across the footbridge between Ramsden and Brownhill and then take the road back down to Holmbridge.
