Part-Time Bookkeeper Wanted – Surefoot Systems (Shepley, Huddersfield)
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible, part-time role? Surefoot Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable professional to join our team. This is an office-based role at our home office in Shepley, so candidates must be local and able to commute easily.
We are a friendly family business with over 25 years in the Health & Safety (Slip Prevention Industry)
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced bookkeeper with a strong understanding of VAT.
- Proficiency in Sage is essential, with knowledge of other accounting software.
- Ability to handle day-to-day financial transactions, including bank reconciliations & invoicing.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- A friendly, professional attitude with great communication skills.
The Role:
- Managing and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Processing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC.
- Reconciling bank statements and handling payments.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts.
Job Details:
- Part-time position with flexible hours.
- Preferably self-employed, working on a freelance basis.
- Based at our office in Shepley, Huddersfield.
- You’ll have access to our company PC so no need to have your own computer equipment.
