We are looking for a new General Manager at the Huntsman Inn, Holmfirth. This stunning pub boasts 15 beautiful bedrooms and great function space.

One of JW Lees most iconic Inns, The Huntsman is looking for a new General Manager to lead the team and ensure the continued success of this stunning business. Located high up on Saddleworth Moor, the Inn is surrounded by stunning moorland and countryside making it a popular location for cosy nights away and delicious Sunday roasts after enjoying one of the many local walks. The Huntsman is also a super popular functions and events venue, hosting weddings and parties throughout the year.
The next General Manager of the Huntsman will build on the Inns success and continue to drive sales whilst at the same time maintaining the quality and consistency that the pub has become renowned for. Experience in a high volume, food led site with rooms would be advantageous. Owing to the location of the Huntsman, building, training and most importantly retaining a talented team is critical to the success of the business.
As a General Manager your focus will be on driving sales and profit whilst making sure engagement with the local community is one of your key priorities. It is essential that you can demonstrate excellent management skills and have a proven track record of delivering great quality service, food and drink through your teams. You will be accountable for managing all areas of the business whilst being given the opportunity to make those key business decisions.
