Experienced Café Supervisor
DAY TIME HOURS working in The Café at Totties Garden Centre just outside Holmfirth.
Leadership and supervision of the team is a vital part of this role along with the the day to day running of the café.
Strong communication skills and ability to inspire and lead other team members.
As well as a passion for customer service to deliver a great experience.
The Role – is a hands-on role in a small team;·
- Managing bookings + monitoring tables & service
- Instilling our standards of service with the team
- Preparation for daily service
- Ordering of wine & soft drinks, coffee etc
- Managing the front of house products e.g. cake consumption
- Monitoring food safety & hygiene working closely with kitchen team
- Ability to assist in kitchen during busy periods, an advantage
- Ensuring good standards and cleanliness of the café
- All tasks linked to service in the café; till operator, taking orders, barista, food service, clearing, pot wash
You should be hardworking and trustworthy with and have a friendly personality! With a good food and drink knowledge.
You MUST be able to work both weekday and weekend shifts between 9am and 5pm, month rota prepared in advance (closed Mondays except bank hols.)
Hours negotiable from 15hrs over 2 days to 35hrs full time over 5 days.
