Steam & Diesel Gala Weekend – Whistlestop Valley

The Friends of Kirklees Light Railway will be hosting their annual Steam & Diesel Gala Weekend.

There will also be stationary engines, steam rollers, photo displays, including full size & miniature traction engines. As well as an intensive timetable including half hourly departures to Shelley and an hourly shuttle service operating between Clayton West and Skelmanthorpe.

AND of course the infamous ‘Shelley or Bust’ which is a traditional end to the annual Gala weekend, where they send as many locos as possible to Shelley or back!
