Music for a Summer Evening – The Civic, Holmfirth

Join us for a wonderful concert by Riverside Winds, who performed to great acclaim, at Hepworth Church in July 2022 for the Arts Festival.

This year it’s a fundraising for Arts for Health (a4h.org.uk) the excellent Community Interest Group (CIC) which provides Inclusive access to music, animation and instruments to reduce isolation and support wellbeing.

The concert will centre around Poulenc’s glorious sextet for piano and winds. On the way you will be taken into the enchanted world of Greek mythology, dance music to set your toes tapping and an American piece inspired by jazz.

Tickets £18 including a glass of wine or soft drink and nibbles on sharing platters.

Doors open 6.30pm and seating is on a first come first served basis. Bar available throughout the evening.
