Drawing & Painting Classes with Jamie Frost (Saturdays) – Apr-Jul

You can expect to be led through the steps from drawing to finished painting as works progress. You’ll draw in different ways, look at colour application, under-painting, blocking in, light values, reflected colour and blending and detailing techniques.

The exploration of formal training is balanced with the expressive qualities of the painter- the language of mark making and paint application. Participants work in a range of media including Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Alkyd, and various drawing and printmaking methods. This is a real all-rounder for artists of any level. I’m very proud that we have a supportive group environment- class members contribute a huge amount to each other’s development.
