Customer Service Adviser

Full Time Position (37.5 hrs per week)

Permanent Contract

Location: NFU Mutual, Honley, Huddersfield, HD9 6QZ

Monday – Friday 9am until 5pm

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Honley Agency.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that will broaden your skillset, and which will enable you to make a difference by helping to support our Motor & Personal customers in fully understanding their insurance needs.

Once training has been completed the role will be predominantly speaking with new and existing customers in identifying and understanding their needs and to transact business in a professional manor whether it be making changes to existing policies or discussing new business products.

You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to continually develop your knowledge and skills to ensure you sell professionally and compliantly.

This role will also include lots of interactions across different areas of the business, speaking directly with our existing customer base and also new business sales.  Liaising with underwriters and working coherently with the rest of the team in the Honley Agency.

The Ideal candidate needs to be capable of working unsupervised, be organised, have attention to detail and understand the importance of great customer service.

About you:

If you can:

  • Work well within a team and also capable of working individually on your own projects
  • Feel comfortable working within a regulated environment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have excellent customer service skills.
  • Have good computer skills and able to work with various programs
  • Have a great telephone manner
  • Have experience or an interest in the Insurance Market
