Steam into Christmas 2025 – 1 Night Only – Grand Opening! ​

Join us Opening Night as Santa Brings Christmas to Whistlestop Valley to start the Festive Season!

Times: ​16:25, 17:15 and 18:15

The time you choose when making your booking is the time you will be visiting Santa in The Cabin at Clayton West.

What’s included?

• Welcome Santa to Whistlestop Valley as he arrives on the platform via steam train at around 4pm 

• Grand Light Swtich On by Santa taking place around the Clayton Flyer 

• One-on-one meeting with Santa in our new building The Cabin by the platform at Clayton West 

• Each child over 12 month will receive a Golden Coin to spend in Mrs Claus cabin and a gift their choice 

• Infants under 12 month will receive a Whistlestop Valley keepsake gift (tickets MUST be purchased for instants under 1) 

• Meet Santa’s Festive Elves at Clayton West Station 

• The playground, jumping pillow and Clayton Flyer miniature ride-on railway will be open for unlimtied use at Clayton West Station 

• Unlimited traditional merry-go-round (subject to availability, the merry-go-round is not owned by Whistlestop Valley)

• Gift shop for your last minute Christmas gifts

• Firebox Cafe and Gift Shop will be open
