SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE

We are a family run business with over 25 years of experience in the outdoor leisure industry and a reputation for providing excellent customer service.

We are now looking to expand our team and looking for someone eager to drive sales and forge relationships. 

We are looking for a forward-thinking, resilient team player who is highly motivated, and able to communicate effectively with customers and other members of our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team based in Honley. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on driving sales growth upon qualifying sales leads, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets. You will collaborate with the marketing team to increase sales, enhance brand presence and support business expansion.

You will be doing:-

  • First point of contact for sales enquiries
  • Qualifying sales leads and following up with prospects
  • Providing a consistent “face” for the 1st line sales enquiries into the business
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • In collaboration, understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends
  • Understand product trends and strategise which products need pushing to market
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and support lead generation
  • Assist / deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
  • Track and report sales performance, providing regular updates to management
  • Attend industry related events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand and network with potential customers
  • Ensure excellent customer service and follow-up on post-sales activities
  • This role will require some weekend work (Saturdays – time back in lieu through the week)

You will have:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (ideal not essential)
  • Proven experience in sales and understanding of the sales process
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license

    • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
