Sales Assistant – Fair Trader, Holmfirth
Part-time | 15 hours per week (2–3 days, Weekdays including Weekends)
Fair Trader is a not-for-profit, community-run store in the heart of Holmfirth. We’re passionate about ethical, sustainable, and fair-trade products that make a real difference to people and the planet.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in-store
- Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
- Support stock management, merchandising, and general shop presentation
- Assist with online sales, product listings, and use of the shop’s computer systems
About You
- Confident using computers and comfortable learning new systems
- Friendly, flexible, and a great team player
- Able to work weekends and additional shifts when needed
- Passionate about ethical retail and sustainability
Hours
- 15 hours per week, typically over 2–3 days
- Must be available to work weekends and cover holidays when required
