Warehouse/ dispatch operative

Distinctive Chesterfields are recruiting for a warehouse/dispatch operative at our Honley site near Holmfirth, working Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm.

You will be working for one of the leading brands of Chesterfield Sofas. who distributes around the world, with Show rooms in London, USA and our home town of Huddersfield, Made in Britain.

We are looking for a hard working, reliable addition to our Team who would be working alongside our dispatch supervisor.

You would be trained by some of our experienced team members.

• Carry out quality checks throughout the process
• Ensure vans are loaded with the correct items, safely and secure
• Experience in wrapping goods and loading vehicles would be beneficial but not essential as in house training will be given
• Good communication skills, able to work with rest of the team and communicate with other departments on site.
• Able to manual handle safely and effectively as parts can be bulky and heavy
• Drug & Alcohol Test may be completed by all candidates
• Our pay rates are dependent on age and experience in the role
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
