Stylecraft Picking Supervisor – Spectrum Yarns

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on person to take on the role of Stylecraft Picking Supervisor. This is a busy and varied role where you’ll be responsible for leading the Stylecraft Picking and Packing team, keeping orders moving smoothly, supporting colleagues, and ensuring the department runs safely and efficiently. If you’re someone who enjoys organising, problem-solving, and leading by example, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise daily tasks and orders to keep workflow efficient
  • Communicate clearly with the team and keep everyone updated
  • Support and train team members when needed (systems, processes, new tasks, new starters)
  • Step in to help with picking and packing during busy periods
  • Handle team requests such as holiday or overtime
  • Keep the department safe, clean, and well organised
  • Carry out regular stock checks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date record
  • Ensure stock is labelled and barcoded correctly
  • Process dispatch notes and ensure orders are correct and on time
  • Liaise with office staff and couriers (e.g., FedEx) to resolve issues quickly
  • Act as the team’s first aider and support with health and safety checks
  • Assist with general department duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supervising or leading a team in a warehouse or picking / packing environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A supportive team player who’s also confident in taking the lead
  • Hands on attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive approach
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices is an advantage

Hours of Work:

  • Monday – Thursday 7.00 am – 4.00 pm
  • Friday 7.00 am – 12.00 pm
