Holmfirth Tech, The Creative Hub For Arts, Learning, Well-Being and Enterprise.
The Tech is the place where people have fun, learn, help each other, where they can be creative and develop both their skills and their business. Located in the market town of Holmfirth, Holmfirth Tech is a community-owned building and open to the public. The building has recently received Grade II Listed Building status and a programme of refurbishments and redecoration is planned over the next year or so. Work to our commercial kitchen is almost complete, opening up lots of opportunities for catering and community café events. Over the last 12 months, room hire has increased, and Holmfirth Tech is now used by community groups and organisations for a wide range of events and activities; some are regular, and others are occasional. It’s lovely to see the rooms full and the place buzzing, to the sounds of laughter and music.
