Picker / Stock Preparation Team Member
Hourly Rate: NLW per hour Location: Meltham, Holmfirth
Type: Permanent / Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, team focused individual to join a local based company which has a passion for sourcing great quality Crystals, minerals and fossils. Working within a small team this role is varied and busy and requires someone with an eye for detail who works well under pressure within a stock-controlled environment.
You will be required to work with a hand-held terminal and therefore will need to have a good knowledge and experience of using similar electronic devices. There will be lifting which can be quite heavy sometimes due to the nature of our products
Duties will include
- Liaise with team members
- Scan order documents, using computer SAP system
- Follow the route location instructions, pick products ready for packing
- Transfer of boxes to packing areas which includes lifting
- Picking for new products for stock
- Sizing & grading of stones
- Working in other departments when required
Requirements
- A positive, “can-do & will do” attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
- Knowledge or experience of SAP Business 1 would be an advantage.
- All candidates must be currently eligible to both live and work in the United Kingdom.
