Office Manager/ Bookkeeper – Andrews Greengrocers

Holmfirth | Part-Time | £15 per hour | 25–30 hours per week

Andrews Greengrocers, a well-established and growing local business, is looking for a reliable and proactive Office Manager to join our team. This role has become available as the current manager is moving on, and we’re looking for someone who can confidently take the reins and help steer the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
– Process and manage supplier payments and maintain up-to-date records.
– Oversee customer credit control, ensuring timely payments and good client communication.
– Prepare monthly payroll information for submission to the accountant.
– Manage and support staff, including scheduling and day-to-day HR tasks.
– Assist in developing and executing strategies for business growth.
– Maintain and monitor business cash flow effectively.
–  Provide general administrative support and act as a key contact for operational matters.

Requirements:
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
– Essential: Solid working knowledge of Sage accounting software.
– Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
– A practical, hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail.

Role Details:
– Pay: £15 per hour
– Hours: 25–30 hours per week, depending on business needs
– Location: On-site in Holmfirth
