Job Title: Nursery Nurse
Location: The Learning Tree, Holmfirth
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: Real Living Wage – £12.60- £13.45

Key Responsibilities:
– Childcare & Development: Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, and grow, helping them develop key skills and confidence.
– Daily Care: Assist with feeding, changing, and maintaining the health and well-being of children.
– Learning Activities: Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and learning.
– Observation &Record Keeping: Track the children’s progress and ensure that development milestones are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
– Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow nursery staff to deliver excellent care and a positive experience for both children and families.
– Parent Interaction: Build strong relationships with parents and keep them updated on their child’s development, progress, and achievements.

Skills &Qualifications:
– Essential:
– Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent), or working towards this.
–  A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
– Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
– Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
– Desirable:
– Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting.
– First Aid certification.
– Creativity in planning and delivering engaging activities.
