Finance Manager at Footprint Recycling (Waste Broker)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the effective management of our financial resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of financial accounting, planning, and management. This role is crucial for maintaining cost control and optimising financial performance within the business.
Responsibilities
- SAGE 50
- Bank reconciling
- Payroll
- Credit control/Purchase ledger
- Broker experience preferable
- Invoicing form Microsoft Dynamics preferable
- Hands on Manager
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, providing insights into financial performance.
- Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
- Provide guidance and support to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure compliance with financial standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial management or a similar role within the finance sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software, preferable, Dynamics and redware, also Xero.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis is highly desirable.
