New Mill Male Voice Choir present an afternoon with Sir Willard White

New Mill Male Voice Choir will host a truly exceptional event at The Civic, Holmfirth, welcoming its President, world-renowned bass‑baritone Sir Willard White, as guest artist at this Sunday afternoon concert.

From the stage of Covent Garden where he will be appearing the day before, Sir Willard will travel north to join the Choir for this special performance— an intimate opportunity to hear one of the world’s great operatic voices in a uniquely local setting.

His brief visit comes amid a demanding schedule: immediately after the concert, he returns to London where he is performing in Verdi’s Rigoletto at Covent Garden for two weeks.

Sir Willard’s commanding stage presence and power combined with the rich, resonant sound of the Choir promise a memorable afternoon of music.

Doors open at 2.00pm, this is a fully seated event and seats are on a first come first served basis. Bar available pre and post concert.
