Holmfirth Christmas Lights Celebration

We’re delighted to invite you to this year’s Christmas Lights Celebration, taking place on Saturday 22nd November 2025 in Holmfirth.

This year’s event promises to be one of our biggest yet, bringing festive cheer to every corner of the town with family-friendly activities, Tinsel Tractor Run, community performances, and a magical Christmas lights switch-on that marks the start of the holiday season.

A key highlight for 2025 is Santa’s Magical Key Hunt – a large-scale community adventure for children and families. With support from over 80 local businesses and more than 2,000 magical keys hidden throughout the town, the hunt invites participants to help Santa find his missing keys before Christmas Eve.

Following the viral success of our Easter Egg Hunt and the popularity of our recent community videos, we’re expecting a fantastic turnout and a vibrant festive atmosphere.

We would be thrilled to welcome you to the event, meet our local businesses and families, and share in the excitement of this much-loved Christmas tradition.
