Holmfirth Arts Festival is back for 2024 and we’re delighted to be able to share with you details of what we’ve got coming up throughout the festival period this year. BIG weekend is 15 & 16 June but we have events running to September.

This year’s Festival theme of FLOW takes inspiration from the importance of the River Holme in Holmfirth and the Holme Valley. Using FLOW and our location as inspiration, we have invited the best local, national, and international artists to respond to the environment, our unique landscape and its wonderful people, in all their diversity.

We kick off with an Accessible Activities Amble for people with disabilities and their personal assistants, then we head into the Big Weekend with outdoor entertainment and activities for families and people of all ages. Big Weekend events include loads of free workshops, exhibitions, the Dear Sunflowers Parade, live music, and world-class performances from Circus Raj, Mind the Gap, and Rogue Play to name just a few. See them all here: www.holmfirthartsfestival.co.uk

Following our Big Weekend we have a number of incredible ticketed events happening throughout the summer until the end of September. New Mill Male Voice Choir will be performing Let The River Run at the end of June, soul/blues diva Dana Ali will be getting us all onto our feet at the end of July. We have a brand new commission for chamber orchestra and choir with Requiem for a Fading World at the beginning of August followed by Ukrainian concert pianist Daria Golovchenko towards the end of the month. Then in September comedian Kieran Hodgson presents his show Big in Scotland. Again find out more and get tickets here:
