About us

• Bina’s Kitchen is a small, family-run business that specialises in Pakistani street food with a twist.
• We offer a variety of dishes, from masala fries and pakoras to biryanis and curries, all made with fresh ingredients and spices.We love doing weekly specials for that creative outlet!
• We are located in the new Coopers Yard food and social hall, in Holmfirth.
• We are open serving food Thursdays 4pm – 9pm, Fridays 12pm – 9pm, Saturdays 12pm – 9pm, Sundays 12pm – 8pm (and every bank holiday Monday 12pm – 8pm).

About the role

• We are looking for a Chef to join our kitchen team and help us prepare and cook our dishes.There are between 20 – 35 hours a week available to work. Rota’s are generated every 2 weeks.

• We are looking for someone who works well in a close team in a fast-paced environment. Someone who is eager to contribute new ideas and has a passion for creativity!
• You will work closely with all the staff at Bina’s in our open kitchen and be expected to jump in to different roles alongside being a chef during a busy shift. For example, taking orders at the till, keeping on top of on-going prep, cleaning and tidying around you and your work area, stock checking, working on numerous different stations and managing the pass on rotation.

About you

• You would ideally have 2 years kitchen experience but training will also be available.
• You have a passion for different cuisines and a basic knowledge of ingredients and techniques.
• You have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and improve.
• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.You are capable of independent thinking and working well under pressure when faced with problems.
