Position Overview
The role of Bar Manager/Supervisor is a hands on role where you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our exciting restaurant bar. We are looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and support the team, passionate about all things bar and hospitality as well as an inspirational leader. You will be a member of the management team where you will be responsible for ensuring excellence at all times whilst growing the business. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience – ensuring every guest is given the Devour experience
- Team – Take ownership of your team including talent pipeline & succession. Induction of new starters, organise training sessions to increase product and skill knowledge
- Drink menu development – giving you the opportunity to have your creative input
- Stock Management – Take responsibility for all Bar stock control including, wastage, ordering, invoicing, stock levels
- Standards – Delivering the highest quality bar standards, passing audits and ensuring maintenance of equipment in your department
- Shift Management – Effectively organise and run shifts as a duty manager
