Join our growing team at Rogers Bakery as a full time Baker/Pastry Maker!
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our busy bakery. As a Baker/Pastry Maker, you will be responsible for producing a wide range of high-quality breads, pastries, and other baked goods. You will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our customers have access to fresh, delicious artisan products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Early starts ( approx 4am) to assist with baking and ensuring products are ready for delivery on time..
* Mixing and Shaping of a variety of breads, pastries, including croissants and sourdough bread, focaccias etc.
* Effective collaboration with the bakery team to maintain efficient operations.
* Adherence to strict quality control standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
* Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
* Clean driving licence for occasional van deliveries and Holiday cover
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a commercial bakery
* A passion for baking and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* A willingness to learn new methods.
* Your working week would be Tuesday to Saturday .
