Artisan Baker Wanted! 

Are you a passionate and skilled Artisan Baker looking for a new opportunity? Roger’s Bakery is seeking a talented individual to join our team and create delicious, handmade breads!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Following recipes precisely to create our signature artisan breads, focusing on high hydration doughs.
  • Accurately scaling and shaping doughs
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, including managing stock after deliveries.
  • Contributing to cost control and stock management.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Passionate about baking and eager to master traditional techniques.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic who can also work independently.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to producing top-quality products.
  • Able to quickly learn new recipes and follow instructions.
  • Comfortable with basic maths for accurate measurements.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial baking environment, with a focus on artisan breads.
  • Solid knowledge of different flours and their unique properties.
  • Creative and keen to develop new and exciting products.

Schedule & Benefits:

This is a part-time position, working two days a week, Thursday and Friday, typically from 5:00 AM to approximately 2:00 PM, with occasional extra days as needed. We offer a company pension scheme and a competitive wage based on your experience.
