About Us

Bosco Catering Ltd is a private catering company providing high-quality food and hospitality services at two local golf clubs, as well as a range of external functions and events. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent food and customer service in a friendly, professional environment.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join our team based primarily at Meltham Golf Club. This is a flexible part-time position with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods and to provide holiday cover.

The role is predominantly daytime work, although flexibility is essential as occasional evening functions and events will require additional hours. There may also be opportunities to work at our other venues and external catering events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce high-quality meals for the clubhouse bar menu.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and service of food for functions and events.
• Support external catering functions when required.
• Maintain a 5-star standard of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and organisation at all times.
• Ensure all food safety procedures are followed, including the accurate completion of all relevant food safety and HACCP documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and help maintain an efficient, well-organised kitchen.
• Work as part of a small, friendly catering team to deliver excellent food and customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ kitchen experience.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work flexibly across different locations and hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
