Part-time Payroll Administrator required

PAYROLL EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE 

The Company

JMA are a local Payroll & Managed Account provider offering a high-quality support service to people with care needs throughout Yorkshire.

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join our small but busy team based in Kirkburton.

The Role

  • To assist our team to deliver all aspects of Payroll & Pensions administration for over 350 4 weekly/Monthly payrolls.
  • Analysing timesheets & reports, calculating holiday, statutory payments and different elements of pay.
  • Making timely and accurate payments to Carers and processing/checking care Provider invoices.
  • Perform budget calculations to work out Employee rates of pay after on-costs.
  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries to a conclusion and with a professional manner.
  • Maintaining records ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.

Experience and attributes

  • Payroll experience is essential, ideally in a similar role.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A background in administration is required with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and App’s.
  • Numerate with good Maths and English skills.
  • Strong communication skills required to deal with high volume telephone and email enquiries.
  • Good team player who also has the ability to understand when to apply own initiative.
  • Honest & reliable with an understanding of Confidentiality.
  • A motivated attitude with dedication for the role.
  • Must have a compassionate and caring nature.
